Agendas
Each student will receive an assignment agenda at the beginning of the school year. They will be required to fill in a page each school day. I will display in the classroom what needs to be written in their agenda each day. All your child will need to do is to copy down what I have posted. Any assignment that is not completed at school will be placed in their blue take home folder. After assignments are completed at home they can be placed back in the blue folder to be returned to school.
As a parent, you can use the agenda and blue folder as a tool to help your child learn organizational skills and responsibility. It will also help you stay informed about what we are doing at school. I ask that you sign or initial your child's agenda each day so that I know your child is sharing it with you. The agenda is also a good place for us to communicate back forth. I will check their agendas each day so if you have a question or concern if you jot down a note in the agenda I will see it. I will often leave notes to you in your child's agenda. So please check it regularly! Your child will lose one quarter for every time his or her agenda is not signed.
Each day your child should bring home their blue take home folder and their agenda. They should both be returned to school each day!
